Touch the Mekong follows one of Asia’s great rivers through Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. It begins in Chiang Rai, where the Mekong is first experienced through food, coffee and the cultures shaped around it. From there, the journey continues by slow boat to Luang Prabang, then follows the river’s influence through Vientiane, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
The Mekong is not experienced only as scenery. It is discovered through the people travellers meet, the food they share and the cultures connected by the river.
