Explore Cu Chi tunnels where you will be lead through the jungle as your guide explains the history of the war, the ingenuity of the Cu Chi residents and the daily activities of the people in the 200 kilometers underground with meeting room, hospital, kitchen… Experience 60 seconds in the tunnel to see how you feel when you escape.
On-board refreshment and Vietnamese Lunch in a riverside restaurant will give you more sense of authentic local flavor.
In the morning, meet your guide at the hotel then transfer to the pier in Saigon downtown. Embark on a deluxe speedboat to the Famous Cu Chi Tunnels. Once you are onboard, welcome drink then speed away thebustling city toward the countryside. Within 15 minutes, the banks of the river change from city skyline buildings to lush jungle.
You will find the opportunity to have the life –time photos of the life along the riverbank where families live on the stilt houses and many children whose livelihoods grown up on the water surface. The journey over the Saigon River takes approximately 1 hour. Depending on departure time, enjoy unlimited refreshments with a light breakfast of sandwiches or pastries, fresh tropical fruits and Vietnamese iced coffee, or enjoy a late-morning snack, served on board.
Upon arrive at Cu Chi Tunnels, spend approximately 2 hours to explore the Cu Chi site. The tunnels consist of more than 200 kilometers. This main axis system has many branches connecting to underground hideouts, shelters, and entrancesto other tunnels. The network included innumerable trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today the remaining tunnels have become a major tourist attraction giving the visitor a unique experience and a feel of what underground life was like during the U.S.-Vietnam War.
After your meal, depart Cu Chi and return by speedboat to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival at the central pier, you will be driven back to your hotel.
