This is a beautiful way to explore Saigon city from a different perspective by 2 hour - cruise on the Saigon river. The journey shows you the skyline buildings in the downtown, substandard house on the river bank, busy local port and small canals in China town, the daily life of local people on the river bank. During the cruise, we will serve you a delicious breakfast.
The tour starts just outside of the city center at the Saigon river. We will pass by the impressive skyline of Ho Chi Minh City on one side and the rapidly developing Thu Thiem area on the other. After passing by the Ho Chi Minh Museum, one of the oldest buildings of the city, we will pass below the famous Mong bridge built buy Gustav Eiffel. You will be able to see the Bitexco Financial Tower, the State Bank and the stock exchange just besides the bridge.
Following we will continue our tour through district 4 & 8 where the scenery will interchange between rich neighborhoods with villas and basic riverside makeshift houses built over the water.
After about an hour the scenery will quickly change from the crowded city to lush green natural areas where you will feel like you are in the Mekong Delta. If time permits we will buy fresh coconuts from one of the many coconut 'factories' in this area.
Lastly we cruise back to the city and arrive in China Town where the canals are buzzing with boats shipping all kinds of merchandise in and out of the city. After another 15 minutes we arrive at our destination.
The tour is made in a luxury Vietnamese-built boat. The boat is made from steel and the interior is completely covered with beautiful wood. On board there is a bar and a toilet. During the bright hours of the day the boat is covered with a canopy which also serves as a rain cover.
Along the trip we serve you a breakfast of baguettes, fruit, fresh orange juice and coffee & tea. Please enquire for special dietary needs.

Take a stroll about 1,5 kilometer around Cho Lon ( means “ Big Market “) and discover the local daily life activities. Stop to visit the Traditional Medicine Shops, Ong Bon Temple, Lantern street, Francisco Xavier Church, Thien Hau Temple, Binh Tay Market and have Lunch in local restaurant.
