DAY 1: ARRIVE PHNOM PENH (L/D)

Upon arrive at Phnom Penh International airport you will be welcome by local tour guide & transfer to hotel. Lunch at local restaurant. Today city tour includes Royal Place, Silver Pagoda, Raung Damrei Museum. The Palace building and Silver Pagoda are located with in the same walled ground. The Silver Pagoda is so named because of its floor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. The treasures include a solid gold Buddha encrusted and weighing 90 kilos and a small 17th century emerald and baccarat crystal Buddha. And National Museum of Fine Arts, next to the Royal Palce was dedicated by king Sisowath in 1920. Over 5000 objects are on display including Angkorian era statues, lingas and other artifacts, most notabley the legentary statue of the “Leper King” Though the emphasis is on Angkorian artifacts, there is also a good collection of pieces from later periods, including a special exhibition pf post-Angkorian Buddha figures. visit Wat Phnom, a small hill crowned by an active wat (pagoda) marks the legendary founding place of the Phnom Penh. Independence monument, was inaugurated in November 9, 1962 to celebrate Cambodia’s independence from foreign rule. Dinner at local restaurant & overnight in Phnom Penh.


DAY 2: PHNOM PENH (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Today visit Toul Sleng Museum of Genocide and Cheung-Ek Killing Fields, visit Wat Ounalom Pagoda, it is situated at the riverfront and it is reputedly the oldest Buddhist foundation in the city, probably predating the abandonment of the capital at Angkor in the 15th century. The founding date is variously cited as 1422 and 1443. This Wat is the home to the Bouddhique patriarch and until 1999 housed the institute Buddhist and library. Lunch at local restaurant, afternoon tour of Then visit Central Market, another landmark of the city of Phnom Penh and Russian Market (Psah Tuol Thom Pong), a lively outdoor market where you will find antiquities, silver and gold jewelry, gems, silk, kramas, stone and wood carvings, as well as T-Shirts, CDs and other souvenirs. In evening, enjoy boat cruise on the Mekong River to see sunset view. Dinner at local restaurant & overnight in Phnom Penh.


DAY 3: PHNOM PENH - SIEM REAP (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Transfer to Phnom Penh International Airport for your flight to Siem Reap. Meet on arrival at Siem Reap airport by your tour guide. Visit The Angkor National Museum, presenting one of the most immense and prestigious collection of Buddha Statues and relics ever assembled just in one gallery. The Angkor Nation Museum in Siem Reap offer eight chronologically ordered galleries of Angkorian-era artifacts and multi-media presentations of Angkorian history and culture. The museum has just recently its doors and is still in the process of putting the finishing touches on some of it’s exhibits. Lunch will be served at local restaurant and then check in at hotel. Afternoon, Then continue to visit the floating village of Chong Khneas, located 10 kilometers south of Siem Reap. Take a traditional wooden boat for a ride on the Tonle Sap Lake, the "Great Lake" of Cambodia, one of the largest in Asia and flows into Tonle Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen's "floating village" with floating schools, floating police station, etc. It is same as a big village floating on the lake, and the "village" move from place to place following water levels and current.
Dinner will be at restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.


DAY 4: SIEM REAP – ANGKOR WAT – SIEM REAP (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Drive to visit the Roluos Group. The monuments of Roluos, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89), are among the earliest large, permanent temples built by the Khmers and mark the beginning of Khmer classical art. Preah Ko temple erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong temple the largest and most interesting of the Roluos group temples, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei temple built on an islet in the center of a large reservoir (now rice fields) by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor. Lunch will be at local restaurant. Afternoon, discover the impressive Angkor Thom: South Gate of Angkor Thom and then visit Bayon temple, Baphoun, the Terrace of Elephants and Terrace of the Leper King and Phimean Akas Temple. After that, visit Bakheng Temple and Dinner at restaurant. Overnight in Siem Reap.


DAY 5: SIEM REAP – BANTEAY SREY – SIEM REAP (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Explore to visit to Banteay Srei, the beautiful ‘Women’s Citadel’. Located 37 kms. From Siem Reap town, this was Cambodia's last major Khmer temple to be re-discovered, then return back to visit the fabulous Ta Prohm Temple which is embraced by the roots of enormous fig trees. Lunch will be at local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the 7th world heritage, Angkor Wat a unique and stunning blend of spirituality and symmetry, an enduring example of man's devotion to his Gods. It is the largest and undoubtedly the most breath taking of the monuments of Angkor and it is widely believed that it is the largest religious structure in the world. Dinner will be at local restaurant with Apsara dance show & Overnight in Siem Reap.


DAY 6: SIEM REAP – BENG MEALEA – KOH KER – SIEM REAP (B/L/D)

Breakfast at hotel. Explore the secluded Koh Ker temple. A trip to this sanctuary brings you deep into the Cambodian countryside and way back in time. This single pyramid temple dates from the late 9th to mid 12th centuries and consists of five brick towers in a row - a very unusual style. Picnic lunch will be on the site. On the way back, en route and discover Beng Melea temple. The sprawling jungle temple covering over one square kilometer is largely overrun by vegetation. Constructed in a distinctly Angkor Wat style, it preceded and may have served as a prototype for Angkor Wat. Return back to the town and do some shopping at the Old Market where you can see the fresh local produce being sold as well as browse the souvenir stalls. Dinner will be at a local restaurant & overnight in Siem Reap.


DAY 7: SIEM REAP – DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast will be at the hotel. Visit Les Artisans D’ Angkor and see their stone and wood carving workshops where the artisans are taught to use traditional Khmer techniques. In time transfer to airport for your departure flight.
