The Mekong Delta, or the ‘Nine Dragon River Delta’, is a vast region in Southeast Vietnam. On this two night tour, take a night’s cruise aboard ‘The Bassac’ for a wonderful and leisurely exploration of the Mekong Delta. Following your journey, spend a night at the charming Victoria Hotel Can Tho which is situated on the banks of the Mekong River.
This morning, leave the busy city behind to go to Cai Be. On the road, enjoy the changes from the city views to the rice paddies and rural villages. Arrive Cai Be, board ‘The Bassac’ cruise and depart towards Cho Lach on the Tien Giang River, have lunch on the boat’s upper deck. Along the way, explore the daily life of local people by visiting fruit gardens, rice fields and villages. As the sun sets, sit back, watch the scenery, and enjoy a cocktail before dinner.

Have early breakfast while the boat cruises the Tra On floating market on the way to Can Tho. Then disembark and get on a small local boat to explore the Cai Rang floating market. This is the one of the most exciting local floating market with hundreds of boats packed with watermelon, pineapple, mango, bananas, papaya, , and also other products such as Pho Noodle, clothings, Vietnamese baguette and coffee... A short drive will then transfer you to the Victoria Can Tho Hotel where you will spend the rest ofyour day at leisure or take advantage of the hotel’s recommended spa.

After enjoying a delectable breakfast at the hotel, you will explore this largest city of Mekong delta on your owns. Depart Can Tho in the early afternoon for the 4-hour drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.
